Windshield Cleaners

Does anyone have a good windshield cleaning product they would like to share? I've used numerous products with the "no streak" promise and none are worth a darn. Just wondering if anyone has found a good product.

I've tried just about every product I could find. Right now, I'm using Griot's glass cleaner with their microfiber cloths. So far, so good. I think the microfiber cloths make a big difference over paper towels. I also use the bug cleaning abrassive side of a window cleaning squeegee on the front and rear glass after every car wash to remove most of the spotting. George Stuper on 9/9/2008 6:04:09 AM
If your windshield has like water spots or other marks that don't seem to be able to be removed, there was a show on TV that said that a windshield will literally look like new if you polish it with metal or wheel polish. I tried it on my rear window and it did remove all marks and it did shine. Jack Willis on 6/15/2008 7:02:18 PM
I have used Castle streak proof glass cleaner for years since asking my detail guy what he used. I just ordered some more cans of it on line and it was shipped very promptly. It has some mild odor of ammonia in it but leaves a very nice clean fragrance in your car for a few days. Just use a low nap towel to wipe it off your windows. It is the best!!! I use NXT Generation Glass Cleaner by Meguiars with success. I even use it in the house. I just received a bottle of Rain X 2 in 1 Glass Cleaner + Rain Repellent that I will try on my truck see how that works. These glass cleaners tend to leave a film though. Anonymous on 11/16/2007 1:57:17 PM
