I have a 1990 convertible. I changed the convertible to the hard top and now the "inflatable restraint light" and the "seatbelt not fastened light" will not go off. Anyone heard of this one? The only electrical that was touched was to plug in the connectors for the rear window de-fogger.

The INFL REST and seat belt light stay on in almost all 1990s, eventually. I don't think changing to the hardtop caused it. To get them to shut off, you have to replace one or both the sensors on the front frame rails. The Service Manual explains how to read the codes and determine if it is the left or right sensor.
I have a new left dog leg for a C4 hard top that has been laying around my garage for a couple of years. Do you have both your dog legs for mounting the hard top? Do you know anyone that needs one?
Thanks,
Jim J.
