I own a 1990 C4 and recently decided to update my Halogen headlights to LED's while replacing the gears for the headlight motors. Now my fog lights are not working and the fog light switch turns the high beams on / off. The LED vendor sold me a wiring adapter kit with resistors that will provide the required path to ground. Also on-line I have found posts that talk about adding a ground to the fog light reply to cure this issue. I am looking for members thoughts on the best approach, I don't like the idea or pulling current through resisters to ground with no real purpose other than simulating the halogen lights. Also placement of these resistors will be difficult. Any thoughts?
