Corvette newbie with a 2012 base corvette. First upgrade I want to make is to the exhaust sound. Do I need to change the entire exhaust system of are there other steps. Not critical to increase horsepower

I just had a set of Borla pipes installed. They really sound great but mellow out when you are Cruzin on the hwy at 60 and above. They added 20 something horsepower as well. Go to Borla.com and you can listen to the different styles on actual corvettes.
