I just read the Feb.newsletter. Jay has a water problem on his C5. Your answer is very detailed. My 96 has the same problem, are the drains located in the same place?

1984-1996 AC drains will plug up occasionally and when they do the passenger side floor will be soaked. The drain is located at the bottom of the A/C evaporator housing. The drain is visible from underneath on the passenger side. There is a center cowl drain on the 1984 - 1996 between the wiper motor and accelerator cable and both drains have rubber flaps that can get plugged up. Squeeze the flaps and the debris should fall out, then run water into the area and wait until you see free flowing water. 1984 - 1996 Corvette driver side cowl drain is in the behind the battery close to the brake booster. The passenger side 1984 - 1006 cowl drain is located below the A/C fan plenum case. The lower panel behind the wheel must be removed to access this drain. Three 30MM TORX bit screws hold the front of the panel to the inner fender. One 10MM hex head screw holds the panel at the top and bottom.
