Bridgestone EMT (run-flat) tires

Can anybody offer advice about Bridgestone EMTs? I have a set on my 2004 coupe. Have not had a flat so far.

Are you expecting a flat? I don't know about the Bridgestone's specificly, but my original Goodyear EMT's had a couple of "air retention" problems. One was a nail that resulted in putting more air in every two weeks. The other was a piece of "shot rock" that put a half inch hole in the tire! I don't know when the rock punctured the tire but after playing golf and starting to go home, I got all kinds of error messages. The computer indicated the message "YOU HAVE A FLAT". the engine power went to half and I got home in limp mode. Rhe system worked as it is supposed to! The tire was shot and the others had 23K on them so I replaced all with non run flats. Much better handling, but I am taking my chances on another flat. Leslie Wise on 12/3/2009 2:40:54 PM
