2006 ROADSTER, WHEN BACKING UP SOUNDS LIKE A CHATTERING REAR-END/LIMITED SLIP DISCS?
DEALER SAYS COMMON,USING THE SYNTHETIC GEAR OIL THIS OCCURS. DEALER SUGGESTS REPLACING GEAR OIL WITH NON SYNTHETIC AND ADD AN ADDITIVE?
SOUNDS LIKE AN OLD SOLUTION WHEN WE KNOW SYNTHETICS ARE PREFERRABLE. ANYONE HEAR OF THIS? AND WHATS YOUR SUGGESTION. THANKS, PETER HECKMANN

I had the same thing on my 2006 coupe and the dealer told me that GM used the wrong oil in the differential and replaced it with the correct one and the problem immediately disappeared. He also said that catching the problem early would prevent any permanant damage.
