I am restoring a '65 Vette that is missing the VIN plate (plate should be under the glove compartment). Need to find the VIN (on the frame/body) so it can be verified and vehicle registered with the DMV.

check on top of frame over rear driver side axle I know on 63 models it is there good luck

I do not think so. That is the life of the car.Someone must have that tag on another car or in a safe.I wish you luck.You may find someone with a 65 vin tag and put it on your car.
