6th Catskill Covered Bridge Rally
,br> A noncompetitive tour open to all cars for the pure enjoyment of driving open rural roads, we follow 13 rivers and creeks through the Catskill Mountain Watershed and Wild Forest. We cross both Branches of the Delaware River on Historic Covered Bridges and cross two more Covered Bridges at Livingston Manor and Beaverkill. This is a hoot of a drive, starting at the Catskills Visitor Center in Mount Tremper and following the Esopus Creek to its source and then picking up the Neversink River through Frost Valley and beyond. Your car should have good brakes and good power. We drive all day and see two stoplights, this is one of my favorite drives.
