Corvette Summer Come To The Tupelo Automobile Museum

April 27, 2009

The Tupelo Automobile Museum will host a special display of Corvettes Saturday, June 6 through Saturday, June 20.  The Corvettes will be displayed in the museum's showroom in addition to its collection of over 100 cars from the 1880s to the 1990s.

This will be the second year the museum has hosted Corvette Summer.  Last year was such a well-attended exhibit that there were many requests to host it again, so Museum Curator Allen McDaniel decided to bring another array of this American favorite for visitors to see.  "We look forward to this event, and we hope to have Corvettes for all generations," McDaniel said.  "This is an excellent opportunity to view some great examples of America's true sports car."

A special admission rate of $7.50 for adults and $5.00 for children will be offered during Corvette Summer.  The Tupelo Automobile Museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm and Sunday from noon to 5 pm.  For more information visit www.tupeloauto.com or call (662) 842-4242.
