I would like to route my spark plug wires under the engine in the original configuration, and I need a diagram of where the covers and wire separators attach. The year is 1969 w/350 c.i.

Robert, I found a pic of the covers but it's not good enough to use...I'm still huntin' for a good pic.

Do you still have the original stainless steel distributor and wire covers? I've recently put new wires on my '72, the only wire seperators are at the point in where the wires come up out of the cover goin' towards the distributor. Am not sure exactly where the passengers side cover mounts as mine is loose at the bottom, but the one on the drivers side is bolted to the back of the block.
The wires covers under the manifolds bolt directly to the block, I found that on the pass.side I had to remove the starter to get that particular bolt. If you have an assembly manual it may show where exactly the bolts and covers mount. I'll check my books...see what I can find for you.

On my 80 there were 2only 2 or 3 bolts that held them on and laying under the car looking up is the best way to see the bolt holes.
